The software is used on industrial control systems. The vulnerability discovered allows users to run system commands remotely. There is no authentication control, so it just only needed to know how to interact with the system to take control of it.
ENISE6: The sixth international meeting on information security

The International Meeting on Information Security (ENISE), reached its sixth edition in 2012, and took place on León (SPAIN) during October the 23rd and 24th. A large number of experts, from Spain and abroad, including representatives of the European Commission, ENISA, the association of German Internet operators ECO or user from Latin America have participated actively in the meeting.
In the area of critical infrastructure protection, participants have been able to analyze strategic and technical aspects, as well as reviewing new security challenges such as those arising from the implementation of Smart Grids. It has also been possible to evaluate the positive impact of cyber-exercises in the owners of these services or infrastructure, showing in this ENISE the first cyber-exercises of the private sector in Spain.

POLIS is the OSCE's comprehensive, multi-lingual online information system, that consolidates all aspects of law enforcement activities within the OSCE area. The objective of this project is to focus on threats emanating from cyberspace to compile and publish a Good Practices Guide on protecting non-nuclear critical energy infrastructures.

CloudCERT European Project has been presented at the seventh CRITIS Conference on Critical Information Infrastructures Security. The project objectives has been presented, and the current status and the future of the project.
CRITIS'12 provides a forum for stakeholders from the academic but also government and industry to discuss challenges openly in a constructive atmosphere. The conference invites the different research communities and disciplines involved in the CIP space, and encourages discussions and multi-disciplinary approaches to relevant CIP problems.
